I love the Florida sun and the old tunes!

I'm a musician/singer/songwriter that has lived in Florida over 30 years. I have been all over the state and I love every bit of it. I have learned that music and Florida were a perfect fit for me especially since I was originally from Massachusetts with all of its snow and ice.  I HATE snow and ice!
 

I love the old jazz from the 40's and 50's.  I love the flow, the style and the way the chords and melody all fit together.  To me it's like magic.  I like the old love songs that have the idea of falling in love, being in love and of course being alone as a theme to build a song around.  I like chords that are musically relaxing and mood enhancing.  You can call it what you want, jazz, jazzy or jazz like, but the end result is my music and lyrics.  I didn't try to copy anyone or be like anyone it was a normal evolution, a natural journey.  Most people that are fans of mine are fans of the easiness that comes with the chords and lyrics of the songs.  In other words they love the musical message they receive from the musical canvas.  

I have retired from teaching and now do full time what I used to do part time, play and write music! Now I am able to do what I have always loved doing, all day, every day! It is the first time in my life that music is actually my job and main focus and I LOVE IT!

  I believe that we are here to experience the life we have to the fullest extent that we can.  I am so glad that everyday I can hear, play, sing and write knowing that life still offers me inspiration and companionship to share my music with all those waiting to listen.  It is through me playing and sharing the music that the real magic begins, friendships are born and good times are had by all.
